FontShop.com offers over 150,000 fonts from nearly 90 foundries. Here are a few ways to find exactly what you're looking for.

I know the name of the font I'm looking for

• Type in a search query. This works best if you know know the name of the font you're looking for. Simply type in the font name and hit Go. 
• Some fonts are available in multiple formats or from various foundries. These are often indicated by abbreviations in the font name. You can learn what those mean in our abbreviation guide.

I don't know the name of the font, but I know what it looks like

• If you've found an image or website that uses a font you like, send it in via our Type Identification and Research form and our crack ID staff will do the work for you. 
• Even if you don't have a sample of what you're searching for, the Research form acts as a guide for what characteristics to ask us, so that we can best help you find the perfect font.
• If you don't have a sample, use our TypeNavigator. This tool will search FontShop's library based on the physical characteristics of the typeface you're hunting for. 

I don't yet have a font in mind, but I have a general idea

• As mentioned above, you can try asking us using our Type Identification and Research form, or search by characteristics using the TypeNavigator. 
• Browse by Category. FontShop's expert staff has categorized many of our offerings into FontLists for your perusal, including Genre, Application, and Alternates. Looking for a replacement for Helvetica? There's a FontList for that. 
• Call us or email us. Sometimes the direct approach works best. 

I need a nice, versatile sans serif
